Job description

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our growing team!
This role supports a mission-critical software development effort at Ft. Meade. The successful candidate will design, develop, and test software in a Linux environment using modern, container-based workflows.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of software engineering experience, or 18+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph
  • Experience with object-oriented programming language constructs
  • Experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred)
  • Experience developing with interpreted languages, such as Python
  • Strong foundation in test-driven development (TDD) practices
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K8s, Helm charts)
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with the Go programming language and concurrent/parallel processing patterns
  • Experience with TypeScript and the Angular framework for web application development
  • Experience with stream processing systems (Kafka, Redis Streams, AMQP, Redpanda Connect/Benthos)
  • Excellent customer relations skills, including managing requirements for feature requests
