Job Summary:
Defense Acquisition Support Services LLC is seeking highly motivated Jr. Computer Scientists to join a high-visibility, mission-critical project at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying front-end and back-end solutions in a secure DoD environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance mission effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy front-end and back-end solutions in a secure, scalable DoD environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to support iterative delivery of software capabilities
• Integrate interactive data visualizations and AI/ML-powered APIs to enhance mission effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with DoD development standards, branding, and cybersecurity best practices
• Manage application state, session storage, and RBAC for secure user experiences
• Build and maintain data pipelines and backend services using modern frameworks
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and DevSecOps workflows
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active DoD security clearance
• 3 plus years experience
• Bachelors in computer science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Prior military service or experience supporting military programs
