Job Summary:  

 The Acquisition Systems Analyst performs advanced data analysis using statistical techniques, develops and implements data models and databases, and collaborates with cross-functional teams for data-driven decision-making. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining databases, data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format. The Acquisition Systems Analyst also works on data management priorities. The successful candidate will have both business and technical expertise.

Essential Functions:

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Develops and implements data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Documents system requirements, defines scope, and objectives, and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation.
  • Elicits, reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business requirements to create systems solutions that support overall product/project vision.
  • Filters data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction.  
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities, proposes system modifications, and devises data governance strategies.
  • Interprets data and analyzes results using statistical techniques.
  • Is in charge of assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
  • Performs analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data.
  • Prepares final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to make important decisions based on various facts and trends.
  • Prepares reports for management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
  • Works on acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining database; analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact the organization and industry; and, documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), data-related workflow processes, and maintaining data taxonomy and definitions.

Education and Experience: 

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and three or more years of progressively responsible experience in Helpdesk Support, specifically Momentum, Unified Financial Management Systems (UFMS), and two years or more of work experience working in an acquisition/procurement or similar environment.

Work Authorization and Additional Requirements:

This position requires US citizenship.
