Job description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Director with a strong background in pharmaceutical and/or nutraceutical manufacturing to lead and oversee our Quality Control operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on GMP practitioner with strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory compliance, laboratory operations, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Quality Control department and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP/GMP requirements, FDA regulations, and internal quality standards.
  • Oversee raw materials, in-process, and finished product testing and documentation.
  • Review and investigate deviations, OOS results, non-conformances, and CAPAs.
  • Maintain and improve Quality Control procedures, systems, and documentation.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
  • Work closely with Production and other departments to maintain a strong culture of quality and compliance.
  • Consistent Audit Prep

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, dietary supplement, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of cGMP/GMP practices and FDA compliance requirements.
  • Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Experience with quality investigations, CAPAs, COAs, specifications, and laboratory operations.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
