Familiarity with project management software (like Microsoft Project, Asana, or Jira) and certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are commonly expected. The average salary for a project manager ranges from $70,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience, industry, and location. Senior project managers or those with specialized skills and certifications like PMP can earn higher salaries, often exceeding $130,000 per year.

  • Identify contractual risks and develop strategies to minimize project exposure.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change management, claims avoidance, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, insurance obligations, and project-specific procedures.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks related to schedule, scope, safety, procurement, and financial performance.

  • Coordinate long-lead procurement activities and material tracking.

Schedule & Project Execution

  • Collaborate with Superintendents and project teams to develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Monitor critical path activities, milestones, and schedule performance.
  • Identify schedule risks and implement recovery plans as necessary.
  • Ensure proper coordination between office and field operations.
  • Drive timely decision-making to maintain project momentum and achieve project objectives.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, tenants, developers, and key project stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness, transparency, and proactive communication.
  • Lead owner meetings and project status reviews.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure exceptional project experiences.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term relationship development.
