Job description

ELOS Environmental, an Aventia Company (ELOS) is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Controls Specialist to support project planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance monitoring across multiple client engagements. This role will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting financial and schedule performance of projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections using the ERP System.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against baselines; identify and report variances.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Track project expenditures and ensure alignment with financial plans.
  • Support risk management and change control processes.
  • Prepare and present project control reports and dashboards for internal and client review.
  • Forensic accounting and auditing of project financial information.
  • Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure accurate and timely data.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal and client standards.
  • Preparation of reports and analysis of project performance for Business Leads.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business, Project Management, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project controls, cost management, or financial analysis, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract management and procurement processes, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, preferred.
