Job description

About the Role:
As a Senior Project Controls Analyst, you will provide administrative and analytical support to the PMO team. You will triage and manage incoming requests through the ticketing queue, maintain project tools and templates for data accuracy, and prepare recurring reports by gathering data from established sources. You will troubleshoot inquiries related to performance reports and tracking systems, audit project data for accuracy, flag discrepancies, and monitor adherence to project administrative practices-escalating non-compliance as needed.
This role requires close cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive projects toward completion. You will communicate project data and reporting outputs clearly, adapt to ad-hoc requests at a moment's notice, and apply standard principles and techniques to accomplish objectives within established deadlines.
This is a hybrid position into the clients NYC office several times per week.
What You'll Do:
  • Triage and manage incoming requests through ticketing queue; route, prioritize, and track items to resolution.
  • Maintain and enforce project administrative policies, directives, and procedures.
  • Audit data for accuracy, flag discrepancies, and architect reporting solutions across key performance indicators.
  • Prepare recurring and complex client reports (monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc) and deliver executive-level presentations to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve internal and external inquiries related to performance reports and project systems.
  • Assist in the tool and platform strategy efforts, including systems integration planning, dashboard migration, tooling transition/deprecation roadmaps, and the identification of opportunities to learn and integrate automations into existing workflows.
  • Train and provide guidance to new and junior team members on policies, systems, and administrative practices; schedule internal and external user training on software applications.
  • Oversee team close-out procedures and monitor adherence to project controls standards, escalating non-compliance as needed.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and ad-hoc requests while maintaining quality of work within established deadlines.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Experience with Google Suite, Salesforce and Procore would be helpful.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
