  • Backfill various roles as required by the SAP ERP implementation project, including the General Accounting Manager, Sales & Marketing Finance Manager, Financial Reporting Manager, and other roles as required
  • Participate in special projects including fraud investigations, acquisition due diligence, business development projects, contract reviews, research of accounting issues, management assistance on new operational programs
  • Conduct financial, operational and control review of third parties including sales agreements, freight claims processors, co-op claims processors, etc.
  • Develop accounting policies, procedures and processes. 
  • Coach and train accounting staff. 
  • Lead projects to identify processing efficiencies and internal control improvements.
  • Oversee audits of the company pension and 401(k) plans
  • Expected travel 20% - 25%
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA / CMA / MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of Accounting experience, strong technical US GAAP accounting knowledge
  • Prior Audit Experience, from public, preferably Big-4
  • Strong working knowledge Microsoft Office; proficient in Excel, Access, and Word. 
  • Experience with audit software tools, such as ACL or IDEA
