ABOUT THE ROLE

The Engineering Manager will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of drafting and engineering staff

while ensuring that company objectives and goals are met. The Engineering Manager must be experienced and capable,

using a variety of Engineering tools. They will participate in and support efforts towards improved work methods, have

problem‐solving capabilities, high mechanical aptitude, as well as responsibility for the integrity of processes, systems,

and information released to manufacturing. This individual will be hands‐on, highly operationally focused, and an active

member of the senior leadership team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate all daily engineering and drafting activities.
  • Facilitate communication among customers and engineers, ensuring specifications, costs, and deadlines are clearly communicated and understood
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate repetitive engineering workflows, testing, deployment, documentation, and operational processes.
  • Evaluate and adopt AI tools to improve developer productivity, code quality, troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Review work and projects for technical accuracy
  • Create and execute strategic plan for the related departments
  • Establishes, implements, and maintains administrative policies, procedures, and standards for the department.
  • Maintains knowledge of new trends, developments, technologies, materials, and best practices; applies this knowledge to continually improve product lines and production efficiency
  • Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of process and product design
  • Collaborate with team leaders to drive continuous process and cost improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience is required
  • Experience in mechanical design and drafting
  • Experience in SolidWorks, ERP Systems, MS Suite, Flatter Files is preferred
