Title: Project Manager - Engineering
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Duration: 7 months
Job Duties
• Ensure that business, technical, environmental, operational, financial and scheduling objectives are met for assigned projects.
• Manage project workflow by identifying and executing interfaces between facility planning, regulatory, right-of-way, environmental, engineering, design, construction, operations, marketing functions.
• Responsible for project meetings, planned budget and schedule. Manage resources, considering team member expertise and workload in optimization, right-of-way, environmental, regulatory, tech services and construction and keeping within budget considerations.
• Assist in identifying and implementing best practices.
• Ensure communication links are maintained with project team, project sponsors, project control, facility owners and operators. Serve as a functional member of the project management team.
• Facilitate the project budget development process. Conduct and facilitate the project review process for the team.

• Bachelor's degree in the appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Eight or more years' experience in engineering, technical services, construction of gas pipeline facilities with a minimum of three years' experience in management function on projects or related technical field.
• Must have a proven record of accomplishment as a lead engineer on projects.
• Advanced project management skills: ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Has a high level of innovation, creativity and ingenuity in situations calling for originality and inventive approaches.
• Consistently produces high quality work products, implements innovations, and meets or exceeds project schedules and cost expectations. An excellent understanding of natural gas transmission operations.
• Teamwork skills to work with others in the department and with external customers to benefit the department and the organization as a whole.
