Job description

  • Lead the Joint Training Synthetic Environment Research and Development program
  • Ensure timely and high-quality achievement of Task Order requirements and deliverables
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to the program plan and schedule
  • Identify issues and develop solutions, including resource allocation or milestone changes
  • Develop program review sessions with the government customer covering cost, schedule, resourcing, and technical performance
  • Manage and coordinate subcontract efforts
  • Monitor, measure, report, and control cost and schedule metrics
  • Act as a government customer contact for program activities
  • Regularly update the government customer on program status
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the government customer and outside agencies
  • Maintain effective personnel resource staffing and a skilled, experienced, trained workforce
  • Perform additional assigned duties
Requirements
  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with a bachelor’s degree in a related field; or 6 years relevant progressive experience with a master’s degree in a related field; or high school diploma/equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience
  • Highly preferred: experience working with DoD customers, projects, and processes
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to conduct extensive research and synthesis
  • Ability to write and communicate at the executive level
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • TS/SCI security clearance
  • Ability to work in an industrial or shipboard environment as required
  • Ability to normally lift up to 40 pounds higher than three feet above floor level
