POSITION SUMMARY

To manage a team of Customer Program Managers, Customer Programs Coordinator and/or Customer Programs Administrator and to support each contract in your group to a successful conclusion. Assist in the development in short and long term growth in the team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage the assigned Customer Program team, monitor status on all related contracts and support team members when necessary, during the pre-production, production, and postproduction phases
  • Establish annual team MBO's and monitor on a quarterly basis in collaboration with the Director, Customer Programs
  • Complete employee performance reviews for each team member
  • Lead the Customer Programs team in continuous improvements that support the company's strategic goals (Product Innovation, Product Optimization and Life Cycle Support) as approved by the Change Control Board
  • Support CPM Director's efforts to monitor and control the Customer Programs departmental expense budget
  • Ensure the Customer Programs team works within key controls (ICFR Internal Controls) identified under this area of responsibility in support of compliance to Financial Reporting
  • Support and monitor staff adherence on departmental procedures and identify/implement system improvements, including related efficiency tools, that improve departmental performance
  • Support and monitor Customer Program Managers upkeep of systems such as SR Manager, MRL and CRM
  • Monitor CPM departmental metrics and work to ensure team is meeting goals and that action plans are in place where goals are not meeting plan
  • Assist the team in monitoring the Master Production Schedule by participating in weekly meetings and providing feedback
  • Represent Customer Programs in daily, weekly and quarterly key operational meetings when needed 
  • Create and maintain mutually beneficial long-term relationships with customers to support team members when necessary
  • Establish effective relationships with internal cross functional teams

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Communications or related business experience.
  • PMP Structured  Training / Certification 
  • 4+ years of hands on Project Management experience
  • Full product knowledge
  • Superior computer and organizational skills
  • Goal orientated and motivated to achieve tasks within set timelines
  • Ability to present information in a professional manner in both written and verbal communication 
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and possess initiative to seek improvements
  • Motivated self-starter with capabilities to work within a fast paced team oriented environment
