Job description

Job Overview:
  • Responsible for acting as a liaison between business and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into structured product backlogs and technical specifications while ensuring governance, compliance, and successful delivery of enterprise IT solutions.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in product management or technical program management.
  • Experience working in enterprise IT environments or government/transportation technology ecosystems preferred.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, architecture, security, and database teams.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience:

  • Experience conducting stakeholder Client sessions and requirement engineering.
  • Experience managing product backlogs, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
  • Experience evaluating APIs, data integration solutions, and system capabilities.
  • Experience working with enterprise governance frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Experience supporting vendor or outsourced software development teams preferred.
  • Experience in continuous process improvement and IT intake optimization.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, policies, and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary liaison between business units, leadership, and technical engineering teams.
  • Lead Client sessions to identify and analyze user and business requirements.
  • Convert business needs into structured product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with architects, security teams, and database administrators to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Evaluate system dependencies, risks, and integration requirements.
  • Ensure all product features comply with IT governance frameworks and regulatory standards.
  • Assess APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise systems to support build vs buy decisions.
  • Develop and enforce documentation standards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT intake, evaluation, and prioritization processes.
  • Develop and maintain templates, guidelines, and training materials for project submissions.
  • Draft technical policies, guidance documents, and system regulations for approval.
