Job description

Reports To: Business Analytics Manager
Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Position Summary

The Business Analyst – Power Platform supports the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise solutions across Microsoft's Power Platform ecosystem. This role focuses on building scalable solutions that enhance business processes, enable automation, and expand AI-driven capabilities using tools such as Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities Power Platform Development
  • Develop AI agents and copilots using Copilot Studio
  • Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for process automation
  • Create and enhance Power Apps applications (Canvas and Model-Driven)
  • Support Power Pages solutions (e.g., portals, secure user experiences)
Analytics & Reporting
  • Partner with business users to define KPIs and reporting requirements
  • Ensure data accuracy, usability, and performance optimization
Systems & Integration Support
  • Assist with Power Platform integrations across enterprise systems (e.g., D365 F&SCM, SharePoint, Dataverse)
  • Troubleshoot issues across applications, workflows, and data pipelines
Business Analysis
  • Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
  • Create and maintain documentation, job aids, and knowledge assets
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power BI)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred:
  • Experience with Copilot Studio / AI solutions
  • Exposure to D365 F&SCM (ERP), Dataverse, or system integrations
  • Familiarity with DAX, data modeling.
  • Technical curiosity (AI, automation, low-code tools)
  • Strong collaboration across business and IT teams
