Job description

When you join Verizon

You want more out of a career. A place to share your ideas freely — even if they’re daring or different. Where the true you can learn, grow, and thrive. At Verizon, we power and empower how people live, work and play by connecting them to what brings them joy. We do what we love — driving innovation, creativity, and impact in the world. Our V Team is a community of people who anticipate, lead, and believe that listening is where learning begins. In crisis and in celebration, we come together — lifting our communities and building trust in how we show up, everywhere & always. Want in? Join the #VTeamLife.

You will act as the primary technical authority for Dynamics CRM transformations, leading solution design, governing platform health, enforcing DevOps/ALM standards, and embedding modern AI capabilities into everyday business workflows.

Define the multi-year architectural roadmap for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, and supporting Azure services in alignment with enterprise business goals.

Evaluate emerging technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem—particularly AI, Copilot Studio, and generative AI features to drive continuous digital innovation.

Design end-to-end solutions across Dynamics 365 CRM, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and custom Azure components.

Architect robust enterprise integration patterns using Azure Integration Services (API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure Functions) for seamless bidirectional data flows.

Oversee data model design, Security Roles/Business Units structure, and performance optimization within Dataverse to handle complex, high-volume workloads.

Establish and enforce Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategies using Azure DevOps, Power Platform Pipelines, automated testing, and CI/CD routines.

Define platform guardrails, API consumption limits, environment strategies, and data governance frameworks.

Oversee security compliance, data residency, and risk mitigation across all environments.

Guide cross-functional delivery teams (developers, functional consultants, data engineers) through agile release cycles, reviewing low-level technical designs and code.

Serve as the escalation lead for complex technical issues, custom code reviews (Plugin execution, PCF controls), integration bottlenecks, and performance tuning.

Mentor team members to build in-house technical depth around Dynamics 365, Azure, and Power Platform best practices.

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Dataverse, model-driven apps, canvas apps, and custom PCF components.

Experience building cloud integrations via Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Azure Functions).

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Link for Dataverse, or Data Lake integrations.

Proficiency with REST/OData APIs, Webhooks, and Azure Event Grid.

Proven track record architecting solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and custom AI plugins/prompts.

Hands-on implementation of Azure OpenAI Service integrated with D365/Power Apps.

Expertise in ALM using Azure DevOps, version control, solution packaging, and automated build/release pipelines.

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert (MB-700)

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)

Ability to articulate complex technical architectures clearly to non-technical business leaders and technical teams alike.

Experience of working for an international Telecommunications service provider.
