This role combines hands-on development, solution architecture, and leadership in data migration, supporting scalable, secure implementations across enterprise and federal environments. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Dataverse, model-driven apps, Power Pages, and experience designing and executing data migration strategies from legacy and third-party systems (e.g., Jira, Planner, and other external platforms).
Requirements
  • Design, develop, and maintain model-driven applications using Dataverse and Power Platform best practices.
  • Architect and implement scalable solutions leveraging Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages.
  • Lead solution design and technical architecture for Power Platform implementations.
  • Define and enforce data models, relationships, security roles, and governance standards within Dataverse.
  • Lead data migration and data architecture efforts, including:
  • Designing data models and mapping strategies from legacy and third-party systems
  • Migrating data from platforms such as Jira, Microsoft Planner, SharePoint, and other enterprise systems
  • Ensuring data integrity, transformation, and validation throughout migration processes
  • Supporting ETL processes, data cleansing, and reconciliation
  • Develop custom components, plugins, and integrations using C#, JavaScript, .NET, and Power Platform extensibility tools.
  • Design and implement Power Pages (portals) for external-facing applications.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, and Azure services.
  • Support and contribute to Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives, including governance and environment strategy.
  • Establish and maintain ALM/DevOps practices, including managed solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and performance optimization.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, integrations, and data layers.
  • Mentor developers and contribute to technical standards and reusable assets.
Required Qualifications
  • 6-8+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 development.
  • Strong expertise in Dataverse architecture and model-driven app development.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps (model-driven), Power Automate, and Power Pages.
  • Strong experience with data migration and data architecture, including:
    • Migrating data from third-party and legacy platforms (e.g., Jira, Planner, SharePoint, or similar systems)
    • Designing data mapping, transformation, and validation processes
    • Experience with ETL tools, scripts, or Azure-based data services
  • Experience designing scalable data models, security structures, and governance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, .NET, and Power Platform extensibility (plugins, APIs, custom connectors).
  • Experience with system integrations (REST APIs, Azure services, middleware).
  • Experience with solution lifecycle management (ALM), managed solutions, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a client-facing environment.
