Job description

Business Development Manager - ConAg


Core Molding Technologies is hiring a Business Development Manager to grow customer relationships, generate new opportunities, and drive revenue in the Construction & Agriculture (ConAg) market segment.


In this role, you’ll lead sales initiatives, manage accounts, and work cross-functionally to align business growth with strategic goals—specifically within OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the ConAg space.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the ConAg industry

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across key product lines and accounts

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers, ensuring long-term satisfaction

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Customer Operations) to meet customer needs

  • Deliver proposals, pricing models, and customer presentations

  • Support contract negotiations to ensure alignment with business goals

  • Track and analyze sales performance, customer trends, and market data

  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer sites

  • Provide input on sales strategy, product positioning, and market development

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and CRM usage


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management

  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Proven success managing a sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%


Preferred

  • Experience in the Construction & Agriculture (ConAg) industry

  • Background in manufacturing, composites, or industrial B2B environments

  • Familiarity with pricing strategy and contract negotiation in technical markets


Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • Travel: Up to 50% (customer visits, trade shows, industry events)

  • Work Environment: Office and occasional shop floor exposure

  • Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift/move up to 10 lbs
