Duration: 4 Months Contract to Hire

Client: Georgia Power

Job Summary

Georgia Power is seeking a Data Analytics Analyst II with 3–5 years of experience to support enterprise data analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Python, SQL, Databricks, and Power BI, developing data queries, analyzing large datasets, and creating interactive dashboards that drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and optimize SQL queries in Databricks.

· Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities.

· Create interactive Power BI dashboards connected directly to Databricks.

· Develop data visualizations and reports for business stakeholders.

· Join and transform data from multiple data sources for analysis.

· Calculate statistical metrics, including averages, means, and other key performance indicators.

· Collaborate with business and technical teams to support data-driven decision-making.

· Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reporting solutions.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

· 3–5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.

· Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

· Experience writing and optimizing queries in Databricks.
