THE OPPORTUNITY:

As our Data & Analytics Manager, you will lead a team of analysts to deliver high-impact analytics solutions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. You will balance hands-on analytics work with team development, strategic planning, and stakeholder management, translating business priorities and leadership vision into team objectives while championing our commitment to Impact, Speed, Repeatability, Accuracy, and Reliability.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Provide technical guidance and direction on complex analytics projects, serving as an escalation point for challenging technical problems
  • Establish and maintain team standards for data quality, documentation, naming conventions, and analytics best practices
  • Lead efforts to define and industrialize corporate metrics and KPIs, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all reporting
  • Oversee data reconciliation processes and ensure all outputs align with sources of truth
  • Drive initiatives to improve data governance, including data cataloging, quality metrics, and stewardship practices
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies; evaluate and recommend new tools and approaches that could benefit the team
  • Lead or contribute to high-priority, high-visibility analytics initiatives, particularly those requiring advanced technical expertise or of strategic importance
  • Conduct complex data analyses and provide insights that inform strategic business decisions
  • Serve as subject matter expert in data visualization, analytical methodologies, and business intelligence tools
  • Develop and execute the team’s strategic roadmap in alignment with organizational priorities and the Data & Analytics team’s mandate
  • Drive initiatives focused on operational excellence, rationalization and automation, and comprehensive documentation
  • Define and track team success metrics (Impact, Speed, Repeatability, Accuracy, Reliability); monitor, assess, and communicate team performance
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that enhance team efficiency and output quality
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts, including performance management and career development
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, including at least 1 year in a leadership or management role
  • Expert proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools; Tableau Cloud experience required, including Tableau Prep
  • Strong technical foundation in data preparation, ETL/ELT processes, data engineering concepts, modern data stack tools, and cloud data platforms
  • Advanced understanding of Large Language Models and AI tools, with the ability to guide the team in leveraging these technologies effectively
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including senior executives
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking; understands how analytics initiatives connect to organizational goals
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience establishing team processes, standards, and best practices; committed to operational excellence and documentation
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking; comfortable navigating ambiguity and making informed decisions with incomplete informationCollaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries without direct authority
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning; models a growth mindset and encourages innovation
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite of collaborative software preferred
