In this full-time role, you will play a significant part in enhancing our patients' mobility and overall quality of life. Through your expertise, you will develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient, addressing their unique needs and rehabilitation goals.

About the Organization

At Raze Orthopedics, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional orthopedic care focused on promoting recovery and improving the physical well-being of our patients. Our outpatient facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by a dynamic team of healthcare professionals committed to achieving outstanding patient outcomes. Situated in the vibrant community of Piscataway, we pride ourselves on establishing strong relationships with our patients, understanding that our role extends beyond providing therapy; we are partners in their health journey.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based on-site in our outpatient office, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for work-life balance. Our office culture is centered on teamwork, where physical therapists collaborate closely with other healthcare practitioners to deliver comprehensive care and foster an atmosphere of learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, identifying their needs and defining treatment objectives.
  • Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour to ensure personalized and focused care.
  • Administer evidence-based therapies, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to enhance mobility and functional independence.
  • Propose and implement cost-effective treatment plans that reduce reliance on medication and surgical interventions.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, empowering them to engage actively in their care.
  • Document all treatments and patient interactions accurately in the EMR system, utilizing tools like WebPT for efficient healthcare record management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Raze Orthopedics, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Our patient population consists of diverse age groups, each with different mobility challenges and rehabilitation goals. Your role will be vital in addressing their specific needs, enhancing their physical capabilities, and promoting their overall health.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with no disciplinary actions on record.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, demonstrating a solid understanding of orthopedic conditions and treatments.
  • Experience in developing patient-specific fitness and wellness programs tailored to meet individual needs.
Compensation and Benefits

At Raze Orthopedics, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance plans that prioritize your well-being.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) of 10 days annually, along with flexible scheduling options.
  • Professional development opportunities, including a continuing medical education (CME) allowance of $1,500 per year.
  • Retirement savings plans, disability insurance, identity theft protection, and other additional perks.
  • Free on-site parking and exclusive discounts on a variety of products and services.
Career Growth Opportunities

We believe in fostering talent and supporting the professional aspirations of our team members. As a Physical Therapist at Raze Orthopedics, you will have opportunities for upward mobility, involvement in specialized training programs, and participation in interdisciplinary collaborations. We encourage ongoing education and mentorship as a pathway to develop your career in a supportive environment.
