What You'll Do

As our Seasonal Performance Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our performance and entertainment staff—coaching actors, maintaining show quality, and ensuring every guest encounter is nothing short of extraordinary.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor performance staff to maintain high standards of show quality and guest engagement

  • Provide daily feedback, recognition, and constructive coaching to foster professional growth and sustain team morale

  • Oversee scheduling, timekeeping, and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage each night

  • Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate performance goals, and address challenges as they arise

Operational Oversight

  • Monitor adherence to all standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and company policies

  • Track and manage labor hours, training budgets, and operational costs, reporting variances to management

  • Oversee execution of performances, meet-and-greets, and special events in coordination with technical and creative teams

Quality Control & Guest Experience

  • Maintain high standards for show quality, character consistency, and guest interaction

  • Observe live performances, provide real-time feedback, and implement improvements as needed

  • Address guest and internal concerns promptly, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner closely with creative, costume, makeup, and technical departments to ensure cohesive show delivery

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture across all staff levels

  • Support installation of new shows, events, and entertainment projects as needed

Administrative Duties

  • Administer payroll, scheduling, and attendance records accurately and on time

  • Monitor inventory and submit requests for performance-related supplies

  • Prepare reports on performance metrics, guest feedback, and team achievements

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and enforce safety procedures, responding to incidents and concerns appropriately

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards

 What You Bring
  • 3+ years in entertainment, live events, theme park, or attractions management—performance or production experience strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to supervise and motivate a large, diverse seasonal workforce

  • Strong coaching and team-building skills with a talent for developing frontline staff

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; calm and decisive under pressure

  • Experience with scheduling, timekeeping, and basic budget/labor tracking

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and all scheduled event dates throughout the season

  • Must be 18 years of age or older


Compensation & Employment Details

Hourly Rate: $28.00 hr 
Employment Type: Seasonal/Temporary
Expected Season Duration: Late September – Early November 2026
Work Schedule: Evenings, weekends, and holidays required during operational season

This is a seasonal/temporary position with an anticipated end date. Employment beyond the stated season is not guaranteed.

Pursuant to California SB 1162, the hourly pay rate for this position is listed above. Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group will not request or consider salary history in making compensation decisions.
