The Sr. Manager, Partner Marketing is responsible for setting channel marketing strategy in alignment with channel sales and company strategy, and ensure its execution across our AMER region (Canada, USA, LATAM). This role focuses on our Regional System Integrators (VARs), but will also include working with our AI ecosystem, cloud partners, , global systems integrators (GSIs), independent software vendors (ISVs). This role will report directly to the Head of Global Partner Marketing, who reports to our CMO.

As a Senior Manager, Partner Marketing you will:
  • Be responsible for managing marketing with our priority AMER-based partners. You will craft and execute to, through and with-partner programs. These will drive awareness in the partner org, industry awareness and drive leads and or pipeline.
  • Collaboration and influencing multiple stakeholders is key. This person will work closely with the partner's own marketing team, driving joint demand generation.
  • Prioritize partners according to business needs, communicating this regularly with a range of stakeholders.
  • Work with strategic partners and multiple stakeholders with competing priorities to come to alignment on strategy.
  • Building messaging for priority partners, in collaboration with the integrated Cloudera marketing department and wider stakeholders.
  • Specify your intended KPIs according to marketing priorities, craft marketing plans to accomplish key goals, execute those marketing plans and then measure and report on results.
  • Create partner-ready demand creation programs designed to drive new opportunities into the pipeline.
  • Analyze program results and make recommendations for future improvements.
  • Identify and develop effective marketing and sales collateral - using both internal and agency resources - for use on the Web site and in campaigns.

We're excited about you if you have:
  • Marketing experience within the B2B channel (e.g. vendor, reseller or distributor)
  • Deep understanding of direct sales organizations and partner ecosystems, and how they must work together
  • Experience working within the AI ecosystem, either as a vendor delivering AI solutions, or at another ecosystem player with a strong AI ecosystem e.g. NVIDIA.
  • Packaging and delivery of channel demand programs to partners
  • Different approaches to marketing to, through and for partners
  • Channel budgeting and funding processes
  • Operations and direct reporting experience, in particular using Salesforce reports and dashboards, and Tableau dashboards.

You may also have: (Optional)
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master degree preferred
  • 10+ years in channel marketing (e.g. budgeting, planning and program execution)
  • It would be great if you speak Spanish or Portuguese

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is:
Colorado ($109,000 - $155,000)
Individual compensation within the published range is determined by the candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, and primary work location. In addition to base pay, sales roles are eligible for Cloudera's commission plan, while non-sales roles are eligible for the corporate incentive plan.
