Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Transformation & Delivery is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our high-impact team supporting the Zero Process Oracle (ZPO) initiative. This program is focused on streamlining critical business processes across Oracle, and you will build the platforms and tools that make it possible.
We need an engineer who can work across the stack-from database to UI-and who brings strong PostgreSQL/SQL experience alongside modern web development skills. You'll support a variety of disciplines as needs evolve, shipping iteratively and adapting quickly. This is a greenfield opportunity to build enterprise-grade applications that will transform how Oracle manages and improves its processes.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain applications supporting the ZPO Process Registry and related tooling
  • Design and implement workflow systems with dynamic scoring, validation, and real-time updates
  • Develop responsive dashboards and reporting capabilities for multiple user personas (Process Owners, ZPO Team, Leadership)
  • Write and optimize SQL/PL/SQL including stored procedures, complex queries, and data model design
  • Implement role-based access control and integrate with enterprise identity systems (SSO/MFA)
  • Build automated report generation with export capabilities (PDF, PowerPoint, text)
  • Integrate AI/ML model outputs into dashboards and interfaces (predictions, recommendations, automated insights)
  • Own operational health: monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement
  • Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of software development experience with proven delivery of production applications
  • Strong PostgreSQL or Oracle Database experience: complex queries, stored procedures, performance optimization
  • Proficiency in modern web development (JavaScript/TypeScript, responsive design, API development)
  • Experience building enterprise applications with role-based security
  • Comfort working across disciplines and adapting to evolving priorities
  • Ability to ship iteratively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle APEX or similar rapid application development platforms
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration patterns
  • Track record in business process improvement or transformation environments
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard design
  • CI/CD and deployment automation experience

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $114,600 to $234,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
