Job Summary
Assist Ophthalmologist/Optometrist in screening, diagnosing and treating patients with eye disorders.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees:
a) Diploma / GED
b) Associates of Science in Ophthalmology (Preferred)
Licenses & Certifications:
a) Certified Ophthalmic Assistant: Joint Commission on Applied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology
b) Basic Life Support: from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program
Work Experience:
a) Two (2) Years Work Experience: Ophthalmology/Optometry setting
Communication Skills:
a) Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
Language:
a) Bilingual Skills: Spanish (Preferred)
