Clean Harborsย in Breslau, Ontario is looking to hire a Refinery Operations manager to join their team in Breslau, Ontario.ย  The Refinery Operations manager is responsible forย  ย overseeing the operations of used oil re-refining processes including associated tank farms and utilities functions. ย The Refinery Operations manager is the main point of contact between shipping/receiving, maintenance and laboratory groups and ensures health and safety, quality and environment and production goals are meet. The manager will also manage operating expenditure (i.e., catalyst, chemicals).

  • Manages the selection of hydro treating catalystsย 
  • Participates in shutdown planning activities, process troubleshooting, monitoring and analysis of process dataย 
  • Key player in lines of communication between management and the operations group staffย 
  • Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, evaluation and discipline of staffย 
  • Ensures process operation within safe operating limits, compliance with all regulatory, permit and corporate EH&S requirements and ISO quality standardsย 
  • Oversee and participate in ongoing preparation, revision and approval of SOP's for refinery
