About the Role:

The Prepress Operator plays a critical role in the printing production process by preparing and ensuring the accuracy of print files before they go to press. This position involves converting digital files into formats suitable for printing, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting any issues related to color, layout, or resolution. The operator collaborates closely with graphic designers, print technicians, and production managers to maintain high standards of print quality and efficiency. Attention to detail and technical proficiency are essential to minimize errors and reduce waste during the printing process. Ultimately, the Prepress Operator ensures that all print materials meet client specifications and are delivered on schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Prepress Operator or in a similar role within the printing industry.
  • Proficiency with prepress software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and RIP software.
  • Strong understanding of color management, file formats, and printing processes.
