Job description

Our Construction Equipment group is seeking a highly organized, process-oriented Operations Manager to oversee and support our Orland Park and South Elgin branches. The expected base salary for this role ranges between $130,000- $140,000 USD based on candidate experience, plus potential bonuses.

This role will focus on driving efficiency across service, parts, and rental functions while building a strong, cohesive team culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving workflows, managing performance, and leading people within a dealership, equipment, or related service-based industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily branch operations across service, parts, and rental departments.
  • Implement, monitor, and refine processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Service and Parts Managers to ensure alignment with company goals and performance metrics.
  • Lead and support staff development, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.
  • Manage operational KPIs including technician efficiency, parts turns, rental utilization, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate reporting, cost control, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance branch performance and customer service.

Qualifications:
