Seasonal Store Operations Job Opportunities

Across Kal Tire Locations in Canada

At Kal Tire, we’re gearing up for another busy season—and we’re looking for energetic, team-oriented individuals to join us. Whether you're a returning team member or stepping into the automotive world for the first time, there’s a place for you here.

We’re currently inviting interest for upcoming seasonal positions Coast to Coast, with hiring throughout late August to October, depending on location.  
We’re hiring for temporary roles, including:

  • Tire Technicians
  • Front Counter Representatives
  • Shipper Receivers
  • General Labourers

These part-time or full-time seasonal positions may lead to permanent roles. From seasonal work to long-term career opportunities, we invite you to apply today.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with product and service needs, provide accurate quotes, handle pricing inquiries, and process sales while delivering a positive experience.
  • Develop strong knowledge of Kal Tire’s products and services, convert leads into sales, and support meeting overall sales targets. 
  • Manage calls, schedule appointments, maintain accurate records, and ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment. 
  • Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires
  • Safely operate tire service equipment and tools
  • Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times
  • Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule

Requirements

  • Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
