What you'll do
Account Management:Manage and grow key mining accounts in the Wabush, Labrador City, and Fermont region, including major customers such as Rio Tinto/Iron Ore Company of Canada, ArcelorMittal, and Champion Iron.
Sales Growth:Achieve annual sales goals by developing new accounts, expanding existing business, and building strong customer relationships to establish ESCO as a "Value Added" leader in the marketplace.
Customer Engagement:Spend the majority of your time in the field visiting mine sites and customers, using the Wabush office as a home base while supporting customers throughout the region.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with sales management, marketing, engineering, product, service, fulfillment, and distribution teams to drive account penetration, team-selling efforts, new business development, product improvements, and sales campaigns.
Technical Expertise:Maintain expert knowledge of ESCO products and company policies, provide professional customer education, and oversee product service, repair, and maintenance including vendor or contractor management.
Travel Requirements:Travel up to 80% within the region by company vehicle to resolve customer issues, support installations, and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Performance Feedback:Contribute to long-term product performance improvement through feedback, analysis, and guidance on warranty, returns, and policy matters.
Safety First:Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you'll bring

Must-haves:


5+ years of sales experience in mining, heavy industrial, construction, or related industries with strong technical knowledge.
Ability to read drawings and prints of bucket parts, bed liners, and dozer blades.
Insurable driving record and ability to travel extensively (up to 80%) by company vehicle.
MSHA certification (ESCO will provide if needed) and willingness to obtain forklift and crane operation certifications.

Nice-to-haves:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, mechanical, or related technical field.
Hands-on mechanical or technical background such as heavy equipment mechanic, welder, tradesperson, or technical field professional transitioning into sales.
Experience working with mining operations, wear products, or industrial equipment.
French language skills considered an asset but not mandatory.
