Job Summary
The Operations Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for operating the assigned Restaurant/Bar area efficiently within pre-established cost controls, managing, scheduling and training restaurant/bar and gaming non-exempt Team Members, monitoring non-exempt Team performance, assist in maintaining the Restaurant/Bar in accordance with Health Department standards, and ensuring Guest/Customer satisfaction utilizing FINE Entertainment's service standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Not Limited to those listed below:
Financials
  • Assist with the day to day operations by scheduling labor, ordering food and beverages and supplies.
  • Understand and assist with the profit and loss results by following cash control security procedures, maintaining inventory and labor, and take appropriate actions as directed by the General Manager.
  • Understand and participate in the reviewing of P&L and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to assist in determining areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.

Operations
  • Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are adhered to by Team Members.
  • Assist in managing the Restaurant/Bar within the guidelines and policies of FINE Entertainment to ensure Guest/Customer satisfaction and profit maximization.
  • Provide Guests/Customers with accurate information regarding the Restaurant/Bar and its operations.
  • Ensuring excellent levels of Guest/Customer service on assigned shifts and effectively manage
  • Promotes Teamwork and cooperation within the Restaurant/Bar.

  • Ensure to execute on each shift Human Resources responsibilities for Restaurant/Bar:
    • Create an environment that fosters mutual respect, Team Member satisfaction, quality hiring, training and career development.
    • Enforce all local, state and federal employment laws.
  • Ensure that all Team Members adhere to the work attire and appearance guidelines as indicated in the Team Member Handbook.
  • and federal health and safety codes as well as company safety and security policies and procedures are followed.

Administration
  • Assist with preparing all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
  • Use the selected and provided technology and systems to perform duties and responsibilities.
  • Complete administrative duties to include but not limited to hiring process, training process, sales tracking, labor tracking, payroll, petty cash, deposits, inventories, ordering, accounts payables and receivables and P & L accounting with accuracy.
  • Assist in protecting and securing Team Members and Guest/Customers confidential information.

Skill Requirements - To Name a few
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to deal effectively will all types of business contacts and Team Member affairs.
  • Basic financial skills, knowledge of P&Ls.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer applications and point of sale POS systems and terminals.
  • Knowledge of food, wine and beverage trends.
  • Experience in performing task to generate inventory data. Basic inventory ordering experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in a full-service food and beverage environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays in additional to normal business hours as needed.
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and health codes and sanitation laws.

Experience/Education Requirements
  • A minimum 3 years of experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager in a full-service restaurant and/or bar with an emphasis on upscale casual experiences of similar volume and Guest/Customer to FINE Entertainment's business.
  • A minimum 2 years of supervisory experience with 50 or more employees.
  • Experience in the Gaming industry a plus.
  • Servsafe Certification required.
  • Food Safety Handler Certification.
  • Sheriff's Card.
  • Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
