  • Assist with estimating efforts, including quantity takeoffs, scope development, and review of subcontractor proposals.
  • Track project costs, commitments, change orders, procurement items, and documentation to support accurate forecasting and budget control.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with project stakeholders and promptly elevate risks, decisions, and unresolved issues to the Project Manager.
  • Support schedule management by tracking milestones, maintaining look-ahead schedules, coordinating long-lead items and deliveries, and escalating potential delays.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, including 2+ years in project coordination, estimating, or assistant project management.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting custom residential or high-end commercial construction projects.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and mark up construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Working knowledge of project documentation, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, cost tracking, and change management.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with project management software, including Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel to job sites throughout the Bay Area as needed and work from the Novato office when not on a job site.

Benefits:

  • 401(k) with 4% match

  • Employee assistance program
  • Referral program
