The Project Coordinator (PC) supports the Program Director/Program Manager by
performing administrative duties related to planning, directing, and coordinating both
the academic and operational activities of the Public Health Sciences Institute (PHSI)
Programs. These programs include the Lewis Scholars Imhotep (LSI) Project, Innovation
- Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (iSTEM), and other programs that
support the Institute. Coordinating and monitoring activities and providing
information, recommendations and/or direction as requested by team lead.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or higher degree, one to two years of experience in an office
environment. Dependable, team player, and demonstrates discretion, take
initiative, good judgement and have positive customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting academic, public health, or student success programs, particularly with diverse or underrepresented student populations.
Coursework, training, or demonstrated exposure to public health, health sciences, or related fields.
Familiarity with data tracking, reporting, and program evaluation tools (e.g., Excel, survey platforms, or database systems).
Experience with program coordination, event planning, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience with digital communications, outreach, or program promotion is a plus.
