As an LTD Product Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our technology. This position involves developing and validating (with design and on silicon) test programs used to improve key technology yield, performance and reliability metrics. The group supports wafer Sort, unit Class test, Burn In and Parametric Testing. It involves working closely with TD and Foundry Program, Yield, Design, Device and Quality/Reliability customers.

Your responsibilities as a Product Development Engineer will include but not be limited to:
  • Defining test plans and roadmaps with key customers consistent with tool capabilities and resources.
  • Developing test content for parametric (ETest), cache (array), or Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) test programs.
  • Coordinating and validating the results for new products through Test operations.
  • Documenting and validating changes to existing test programs.
  • Modifying test conditions for engineering requests and summarizing the results.
  • Collaborating with Tester Module engineers to improve operations and tool performance.
  • Debug of unexpected test results.

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess at least one of the following:
  • PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field; OR
  • MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and 3+ years' experience in product development engineering

Preferred qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience with electrical measurements or circuit analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience with device design, characterization or instrumentation.
  • Some programming experience in Unix, C/C++ or Python.
