Job description

As a General Manager at Twistee Treat you would be responsible for providing leadership to your team. We want every manager to be the best leader possible; and following TRED is the way to get there. TRED is defined: TRAINING - Every coach never stops training.

They look at the end goal and work diligently daily to move the behaviors of their team to get them to the goal. RECOGNITION - Everyone loves to be recognized. Recognition reinforces great behaviors.

EDUCATION - Learning should never stop. What we learn from our guests, employees, and leaders makes our company strong. A great listener is usually the smartest person in the room.

DEVELOPMENT - Molding a team member to be their best requires constant feedback. Everyone want to know how they are doing, both positively and negatively. 5 minute feedback is a tool to give direction and development.

Our General Managers must maintain the highest standards of Friendliness and Cleanliness as well as financial results. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: The working environment consists of working 45-50 hours per week. Our expectation is managers schedule themselves during our peak business hours, which consist of weekends and nights.

The General Manager is responsible for cash handling and deposits, inventory, purchasing and payroll validation as well as labor law compliance. Must be able to lift up to 15-20 lbs which is required for putting away inventory and stocking Must have working knowledge of computers. Must agree to a background and credit check.

Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have a managers Food Safety Certificate.

A college degree is preferred. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative GM's will be scheduled minimum 5 days and 45 hours per week. GM's must clock in and out - anytime they are in the cone GM's must work at least TWO Weekend evenings (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) each week - and in rotation (not taking the same day off every week).

If a GM needs more than one weekend night off in a particular week - it must be approved by the Director of Operations. Manager coverage is critical during peak revenue days/shifts and the schedule must reflect this coverage. GM's should open no more than Two Times per week - preferably One Time only.

GM's must work volume shifts when not opening - until 9:30pm on weekdays and 10pm on weekends. GM's should work a minimum of 4 closing shifts (Friday or Saturday) per month. This schedule applies to Managers in Training or second Salaried Managers in a location (if applicable).

All Schedules must be entered in Revel by 6pm on Thursday evenings for Director's approval. If a GM changes their schedule it must be approved by their DO - this includes leaving early coming in late. Any deviations to these guidelines must be approved by the Director of Operations.Bilingual a plus
