Job Title: Assistant Manager

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager supports daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced sports bar environment by leading shifts, supporting the team, and ensuring excellent guest service during high-volume periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager in overseeing daily front- and back-of-house operations
  • Lead shifts by setting the pace, energy, and service standards
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and shift execution
  • Coach and support team members to maintain performance and accountability
  • Monitor guest experience, table turns, and service flow
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures and shift checklists
  • Help control labor, food waste, and operational costs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred
