Job description

Are you ready to lead with purpose and drive results? Kellanova is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Rome, Georgia plant and lead our night shift team (4:30 PM – 5:30 AM). This is an on-site role where you’ll be at the heart of our production operations, ensuring smooth execution and high performance.

You’ll be guiding a dedicated team of hourly employees, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This is more than just a supervisory role—it’s an opportunity to make a real impact by optimizing processes, reducing losses, and driving operational excellence. You’ll also have the chance to work on strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Production Leadership – Oversee all activities on your assigned shift, ensuring production goals, material changes, and schedules are met.
  • Team Development & Support – Provide direction and servant leadership to your team of operators, helping them grow and succeed.
  • Safety & Quality Focus – Champion a “safety first” mindset while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement – Apply LEAN principles, 5S, and RCA methodologies to drive process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Adaptability & Agility – Thrive in a dynamic environment where flexibility and quick decision-making are key to success.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Demonstrated experience managing safety and/or quality programs in a manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Strong manufacturing aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering accountability and execution

Compensation

The annual salary range is $76,200 - $99,960, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
