ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Providing strategic leadership and operational oversight across the Business Services, Logistics, and Ventures Portfolio. Responsible for managing and optimizing multiple business lines, including administrative support services, consulting operations, logistics and dispatch functions, hospitality ventures, food service operations, and consumer brands. Ensures operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, quality service delivery, and organizational growth. Oversees managers and staff, establishes performance standards, maintains vendor and client relationships, manages budgets and operational resources, and supports enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. Ensures effective communication with executive leadership while promoting accountability, efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement across all assigned business units.
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt (W-2, Hourly) - Full-Time

SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Managing Director of Business Services, Logistics & Ventures is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and performance management across Enterprise Management Solutions LLC's Business Services, Logistics, and Ventures Portfolio. This position directs the day-to-day operations of multiple business lines, including administrative and consulting services, logistics and dispatch operations, hospitality ventures, food service brands, and consumer-focused enterprises. The Managing Director ensures operational efficiency, financial accountability, regulatory compliance, quality service delivery, and alignment with organizational goals and growth initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the Managing Director serves as a senior operational leader responsible for managing cross-functional teams, optimizing workflows, maintaining strong client and vendor relationships, overseeing budgets and performance metrics, and supporting enterprise-wide strategic objectives. The role requires a proactive and results-driven leader capable of balancing operational excellence with long-term business development and organizational growth.
SCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the daily operations and performance of assigned business units, ensuring operational excellence and achievement of organizational objectives.
  • Direct and monitor business services, administrative operations, consulting activities, and client-facing service delivery functions.
  • Supervise logistics, dispatch, freight coordination, and transportation activities to ensure efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee hospitality, food service, and venture operations, ensuring quality standards, inventory management, event readiness, and service excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
  • Lead and supervise managers, supervisors, team leads, and staff across multiple business lines.
  • Monitor departmental budgets, expenses, revenue performance, and profitability metrics.
  • Review operational dashboards, reports, and performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, contract administration, procurement activities, and service agreements.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of records, reports, documentation, compliance logs, and operational data.
  • Support business development initiatives by evaluating operational feasibility and implementing scalable processes.
  • Provide regular operational reports, recommendations, and strategic updates to executive leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.
