About the Role:
Join Little Dreamers Learning Center Inc as an Opener/Cook, where you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and fun environment for children. We are looking for a passionate individual to prepare healthy meals and ensure our kitchen is ready for a day of learning and play!
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, adhering to dietary guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Plan weekly menus in collaboration with the center's nutritionist.
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.
  • Engage with children during meal times to promote healthy eating habits.
  • Collaborate with staff to support overall center operations.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Passion for working with children and promoting healthy lifestyles.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
