Job Summary

The Learning & Development Instructional Designer plays a key role in designing and developing engaging learning experiences to support Third Federal Savings & Loan associates. Working on a team, you will apply adult learning principles to design and develop instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning materials that align with the mission of the Learning & Development team at Third Federal. The position will start fully onsite and will transition to a hybrid schedule after training at manager discretion (typically 3 days in office, 2 days remote per week).

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, blended, and eLearning content following the ADDIE model
  • Storyboard, script, and create digital learning solutions including videos, job aids, activities, participant guides, and facilitator guides
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and business owners in planning and identifying learning objectives, needs analysis, defining outcomes, analyzing audiences, and gaining the confidence of management by demonstrating professionalism and expertise in a dynamic, changing environment
  • Select appropriate instructional methods, define time frames, and prepare training materials in physical and digital formats
  • Manage production of courses while adhering to project plans and deadlines
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of deliverables for instructional soundness, accuracy, and effectiveness of programs. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement; contribute to new curriculum and program ideas
  • Facilitate instructor-led and virtual instructor-led sessions
  • Travel to various company locations for needs analysis, SME consultation, educational needs, and/or meetings as needed (approximately 10% travel)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that support the mission of the Learning & Development team
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with training analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of e-Learning, instructor-led and blended learning programs
  • Familiarity with banking and finance industry
  • Learning Management System administration
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Articulate suite, Camtasia, and Captivate
  • Proven skills in developing and implementing training for company-wide initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex content into clear learning experiences

Our anticipated pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. At Third Federal, weโ€™re committed to transparency throughout the hiring process. The pay range listed is based on relevant market data, role responsibilities, and skills required for the position. Individual pay will be thoughtfully determined by a candidateโ€™s qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
