General Description:
We are seeking a Senior Manager of AI Products to join our team. The Senior Manager of AI Products is the primary relationship lead between the AI Products & Adoption team and the firm's practice groups. This role oversees the AI Practice Manager team and is accountable for planning and executing practice group engagement related to AI tools and initiatives, including presentations, workshops, and rollout programs. This position requires strong judgment, credibility with attorneys, and the ability to translate practice needs into effective AI adoption strategies. The Senior Manager works closely with practice leaders, firm leadership, and the AI Products team to ensure AI initiatives deliver practical, measurable value in attorneys' daily work.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead and manage the AI Practice Manager team and AI Product Manager, including performance management, workload planning, and development.

  • Design and deliver practice group presentations, roadshows, and rollout programs.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to practice group and section leaders on AI tools and adoption.

  • Drive consistent engagement and communication with attorneys.

  • Partner with AI Adoption leadership to align practice needs with strategy and roadmap.

  • Manage vendor relationships related to practice group support, including evaluations and escalations.

  • Identify gaps and improvement opportunities and develop action plans.

  • Represent the AI Products & Adoption team at firm meetings, committees, and events.

  • Foster a collaborative, service-oriented team culture.

  • Expected to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to and engagement in work activities on behalf of the firm during business hours unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law.

  • Special projects and duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead and support a client-facing team, set priorities, and manage performance in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. Consistently reliable, responsive, and solutions-oriented.

  • Solid understanding of law firm operations and attorney workflows. JD required; active bar membership strongly preferred.

  • Clear, confident communicator able to present to attorneys and leadership and explain AI concepts in practical terms.

  • Working knowledge of AI tools and legal technology, with familiarity navigating vendor ecosystems.

  • Experience supporting adoption through structured engagement, feedback collection, and outcome tracking.

  • Comfort working with vendors on performance, fit, and issue resolution.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, or Microsoft 365.

Required Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 6-10+ years of experience in legal, legal technology, knowledge management, or professional services

  • 3+ years of people management experience, ideally in attorney- or client-facing roles

  • Experience in customer success, client engagement, or service delivery

Preferred Qualifications & Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) required; active bar license strongly preferred

  • Experience working with AI or legal technology vendors preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

  • Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.

In accordance with applicable Pay Transparency Laws, the pay ranges for this position are listed below. These ranges may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience. In addition to the base compensation, Holland & Knight provides bonus opportunities and an exceptional benefits package.
