About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on, dependable Local Operations Manager to help us keep a portfolio of vacation homes in the greater Sedona area guest-ready, well-maintained, and meeting Company standards. As an operations leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of properties, developing high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional owner, guest, and employee experiences while driving operational excellence and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Ownership & Owner Communication

  • Oversee daily operations for a specific portfolio of properties in Sedona, ensuring all units meet Company standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and guest experience while managing budget adherence and performance metrics.

Maintenance & Field Work

  • Resolve escalated guest and homeowner concerns by professionally managing emails, calls, and work orders, while conducting regular property inspections and performing light maintenance tasks as needed.

Guest & Homeowner Support

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners by serving as their primary point of contact and subject matter expert, proactively communicating updates and ensuring their properties are well cared for.

Team Collaboration & Standards

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing training, support, and oversight to ensure all team members are effective, efficient, and compliant with company policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Portfolio Growth, regional peers, and senior leadership to support new unit onboarding, provide leadership coverage as needed, and ensure alignment across the organization.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, vacation rentals, or property management.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising a team in an operational setting highly desired.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Tech-savvy - comfortable using mobile devices, scheduling systems, and property management software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional in email, phone, video, and text.
  • Hands-on and dependable; able to handle basic maintenance or troubleshooting tasks.
  • Prior housekeeping or maintenance coordination experience a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation for travel between properties.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Frequent travel between worksites; reliable personal transportation required.
  • Work may take place indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Reach overhead and below the waist.
  • Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist as needed to perform property maintenance tasks.
