Manager of Admissions
Dover Behavioral Health System is a 104-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Dover, Delaware area. Dover Behavioral Health System features individual units for adolescents and adults and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Dover Behavioral Health System. Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations of the Assessment and Referral Services (ARC) department, focusing on hiring, training, and professional development of team members.
  • Ensure departmental effectiveness through adequate staffing, smooth admissions processes, and strong internal and external relationships.
  • Act as substitute for the Assessment and Referral Services Director as needed.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance the performance of the ARC department and improve patient experience.
  • Manage intake calls and conduct clinical assessments, documenting essential information and maintaining accurate records in electronic systems.
Qualifications
  • Masters in Social Worker or related field
  • Clinical Licensure (LMSW, LSCW, etc.) preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Preferred Behavioral and Chemical dependency
