Job description

Accord is seeking a mission-driven Manager of Case Management (MCM) to lead a team of 13-15 person-centered Case Managers. The MCM will implement leadership strategies, enhance employee retention, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a hybrid role (minimum two days in office per week) located in Midway St. Paul, MN. The MCM will also be expected to travel within the community to meet with staff. Staff will work and train on-site for the first 90 days.

The MCM will:

  • Oversee case managers working with program participants, setting standards, monitoring performance, and tracking progress toward stated goals.
  • Coach and develop case managers in creating and achieving goals and position benchmarks.
  • Develop and implement productivity strategies and team improvements.
  • Create and maintain retention and engagement systems to address direct report concerns.
  • Serve as subject matter expert to case managers, ensuring high-quality, compliant service delivery.
  • Hire, review, and terminate direct reports according to established standards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead team meetings with attention to engagement.
  • Bill for and document services in a timely manner, following best practice timeframes and techniques, and ensure accuracy of billing for direct reports.
  • Manage budget and expenses and adhere to staffing and spending expectations.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field.
  • Social Workers must be licensed in Minnesota.
  • Two or more years supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Two or more years of waivered case management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Google, and care-related platforms.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to adapt coaching approaches to varied learning styles.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in sharing information and completing work, collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Benefits

Compensation: $60,000-$67,000, exempt, depending on qualifications. Benefit eligible with healthcare, dental, vision, optional coverages, and 403b with employer match. Employer-paid basic life, Short-Term disability, and Long-Term disability. PTO, 8 paid holidays, paid volunteer time, employee wellness program, $2500 annual tuition assistance, mileage reimbursement.

Work Environment: Hybrid (2-3 days in office per week), 40% travel to in-area locations (limited overnight travel), vehicle required. Staff will work and train on-site for the first 90 days.
