Job Title
Financial Analyst


Job Summary
The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in guiding strategic decisions by analyzing financial data, forecasting trends, and delivering actionable insights. This position supports budgeting, investment planning, and performance evaluation across departments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical and current financial data to assess company performance
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making
  • Prepare reports for leadership reviews, including variance analysis and trend identification
  • Evaluate capital expenditures, depreciation, and ROI for proposed projects
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Support fundraising efforts with financial documentation and projections
  • Identify process improvements and automate reporting tools using Excel or BI platforms

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial software, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate finance principles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • CFA or CPA certification is a plus

  • Strategic thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into business insights
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software
