SUMMARY:
The Manager of Controls will assist and train commercial contractors with Carrier i-Vu controls. This position will be expected to draw up submittals, assist in controls start-up, support and trouble shoot i-Vu controls system when called upon by our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide a primary resource for our customers to answer controls questions.
  • Assist in operating the existing Certified Controls Expert Contractor Programs.
  • Maintain Technician Certification documentation and establish training & testing requirements.
  • Assist in conducting training classes for the sales & installation of Carrier controls systems for dealers.
  • Attract elite contractor memberships in the Factory Controls Authorization Program.
  • Supports roll out new controls products to the Controls Expert dealers.
  • Grow the Carrier Commercial Controls presence in the assigned Carrier Enterprise region(s).
  • Manage the interface between the factory and our customers.
  • Travel throughout the assigned region(s) to provide support to Carrier controls dealers.

Requirements:
  • An undergraduate degree in technical discipline
  • 5 years of Experience in HVAC Systems Controls support.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in HVAC systems Controls support.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in using remote support tools and software to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service and resolving customer problems effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Familiarity with HVAC commercial systems Controls Software, ideally i-Vu.
