Job Location: Dallas, TX; Onsite 100%

 

Role: Java Application Security Architect

This is a senior/lead level position in a role covering applications architecture, security in multi-tenant SaaS model.

Job Responsibilities:

·       10 Plus years of work experience with coding, mentoring technical people, technical code reviews, etc.

·       Architecture experience and security focused application support in production.

·       Work collaboratively with leadership, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand high-level requirements and develop software architecture and design.

·       Design complex systems and act as advisor to the technical members to implement advanced solutions using modern AI driven technologies.

·       Complete POC for technology evaluations when needed.

  • Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation of modified or new technologies and / or frameworks.
  • Conduct Application security assessments with Vendors and formulate action plan with due risk management.
  • Design application architecture and socialize with the development team.
  • Review security aspects of data flow, enterprise architecture standards to meet ISO best practices.
  • Active member of Rapid Response team for Business Continuity and production applications security/stability/performance improvements.
  • Develop/refine policies for Information Security.
  • Documentation of the systems flow diagrams and SDLC support documents.

 

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Passionate coder with 10+ years of application development experience
  • Three plus years of Technical Architecture experience.
  • Extensive experience with Java/J2EE technical stack for back-end.
  • Proven work experience with Spring/Boot Framework, JPA/Hibernate.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, Oracle/SQL.
