Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages sales activities of establishments in a designated area or district.
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
  • Coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
  • Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.
  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist dealers in promoting sales.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns.
  • Recommends product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
  • Represents company at industry association meetings to promote product.
  • Acts as liaison between sales and other departments.
  • Holds sales meetings.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Assists other departments within establishment to prepare manuals and technical publications.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales.
  • May participate in product research and development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in real estate management, including proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives.
  • Key account management experience on a district and regional level.
  • A proven track record of being able to motivate and build a successful sales team and promote initiatives that build and create strong trade partnerships.
  • Strong leadership skills to provide mentoring, training or corrective feedback.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including being able to prepare presentation materials and present the information one-on-one and in a group.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
  • Previous P&L experience
