The Opportunity

Diode is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Marketing to lead and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports company growth, strengthens brand positioning, and drives demand across our technology, data center, and commercial development portfolio. This role requires a senior marketing leader with a broad, hands‑on skill set who can operate strategically while also overseeing execution across brand, digital, content, communications, and go‑to‑market initiatives.

The Senior Manager of Marketing will work closely with executive leadership, development, investment, and external partners to elevate Diode’s market presence and support business development objectives.

Diode Ventures is a land‑use developer that takes the complexity out of preparing infrastructure for the digital future. Backed by Black & Veatch’s century of engineering excellence, Diode specializes in de‑risking land, power and water for technology end users and infrastructure stakeholders, creating power‑ready, entitlement‑ready and community‑ready sites to enable clients to build with confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead Diode’s overall marketing strategy aligned with business goals, growth markets, and capital initiatives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on brand positioning, market trends, and competitive differentiation.
  • Establish annual marketing plans, budgets, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to measure performance and ROI.
  • Execute the marketing plan with a detailed, hands‑on approach.

Brand, Positioning & Communications

  • Own Diode’s brand narrative, messaging, and visual identity across all channels.
  • Oversee corporate communications, including PR, thought leadership, awards, speaking opportunities, and executive visibility.
  • Ensure consistent and compelling storytelling across digital, investor, and partner‑facing materials.

Go‑to‑Market & Demand Generation

  • Lead and execute integrated marketing campaigns supporting new developments, site announcements, partnerships, and market expansions.
  • Partner with business development and leadership teams to support sales enablement, pitch materials, and client engagement.
  • Drive targeted demand‑generation and account‑based marketing initiatives for hyperscalers, enterprise users, and strategic partners.

Digital, Content & Media

  • Oversee digital marketing strategy, including website, SEO/SEM, paid media, email, and analytics.
  • Lead development of high‑impact content such as case studies, white papers, presentations, and market insights.
  • Manage agency partners and vendors across creative, digital, PR, and media.

Team & Partner Management

  • Build, mentor, and lead internal marketing resources and external partners.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with enterprise marketing.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years progressive experience, including 4+ years supervisory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in data center infrastructure, real estate, commercial development, construction or related B2B industries.
  • Demonstrated success leading integrated marketing strategies that support business growth and revenue objectives.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing agencies, consultants, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience marketing complex, capital‑intensive, or infrastructure‑driven businesses.
  • Familiarity with hyperscalers, enterprise technology clients, or institutional capital partners.
  • Experience supporting both corporate brand‑building and deal‑driven marketing efforts.
Work Environment / Physical Demands

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
