About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Senior Manager to lead Business Credit Card Acquisitions Analytics. This leader will own the acquisitions analytics agenda for the Business Credit Card portfolio, with accountability for developing the analytical roadmap, generating actionable insights, and evaluating acquisition strategy performance to support sustainable growth, customer targeting, channel effectiveness, and portfolio outcomes.

Leading a team of analytics professionals, this role is responsible for translating business priorities into analytics strategies, performance frameworks, forecasts, and decision-ready recommendations that inform acquisition decisions across the customer lifecycle. The leader will drive analytical insights that help optimize customer selection, improve acquisition performance, identify growth opportunities, and evaluate strategic tradeoffs across the portfolio.

Working across a highly matrixed environment, this individual will partner closely with Credit Risk, Product, Marketing, Finance, Modeling, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and control partners to influence strategic decisions and business outcomes. Success in this role requires strong analytical leadership, business acumen, and the ability to lead change, develop talent, and translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership. In this role, you will:

  • Own the acquisitions analytics agenda for Business Credit Card, including acquisition performance measurement, growth diagnostics, customer targeting, funnel analytics, channel effectiveness, forecasting, and strategy evaluation

  • Establish the analytical roadmap and team priorities across performance monitoring, strategic analysis, forecasting, experimentation, and executive decision support

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of analytics professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and analytical rigor

  • Translate business strategy and portfolio priorities into measurable outcomes, analytics frameworks, and insight-driven recommendations that support risk-adjusted growth

  • Partner with Credit Risk, Product, Marketing, Finance, Modeling, Technology, Operations, and control partners to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities, and influence strategic decisions

  • Lead forecasting, scenario analysis, and test-and-learn measurement to assess business impacts and support acquisition strategy optimization

  • Deliver executive-ready insights and recommendations that connect acquisition trends, customer behavior, credit outcomes, profitability, and business objectives

  • Ensure analytics and reporting practices adhere to governance, data quality, auditability, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in acquisition analytics within credit card (consumer, small business, or commercial card) and/or unsecured lending
  • Solid understanding of acquisition economics, application funnels, underwriting outcomes, customer targeting, channel performance, approval rates, booked volume, and early portfolio performance metrics

  • Demonstrated success leading analytics teams or complex analytics workstreams supporting acquisition strategy, credit risk strategy, marketing strategy, portfolio growth, or customer selection

  • Proven ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights, strategic recommendations, and measurable business actions

  • Expertise in performance monitoring, segmentation, forecasting, scenario analysis, test-and-learn measurement, and business diagnostics

  • Experience supporting acquisition strategies across digital, banker-led, branch, direct mail, prescreen, relationship-managed, partnership, or other acquisition channels

  • Familiarity with credit policy, underwriting strategy, prescreen or solicitation analytics, fair lending considerations, profitability measurement, and portfolio risk indicators

  • Proficiency with analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar technologies

  • Track record of building or enhancing automated reporting, executive dashboards, standardized definitions, reusable analytical datasets, and data quality controls

  • Excellent executive communication skills, including preparation of materials for senior leadership, risk reviews, strategy governance forums, audit, regulatory, and independent challenge activities
