Job description
In Consumer eCommerce, our purpose is to earn fans and drive growth by building emotional connections that delight and empower everyone. We engage consumers globally throughout their shopping journeys across direct channels in Gaming, Windows, Microsoft 365, and Surface. As a member of our team, you will help grow a multi-billion-dollar business, explore new areas of innovation, and contribute to a culture grounded in growth mindset, excellence, and inclusion. Within Online Consumer Experience (OCE), transformation increasingly spans business processes, tooling, AI, automation, data, suppliers, organizational ownership, and operational delivery. As these investments expand, leaders need greater visibility into how the organization operates, where friction and dependencies exist, how initiatives connect, and whether transformation efforts are delivering measurable business value.
We are seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Senior Program Manager, Business Transformation & Intelligence to establish and maintain OCE's transformation intelligence capability. This role will create integrated operational views, analysis, measurement frameworks, and decision-support artifacts needed to identify opportunities, understand cross-functional dependencies, make informed investments, and accelerate progress against OCE priorities. The successful candidate will maintain a living view of how OCE operates across people, processes, tools, suppliers, AI capabilities, data, and business functions. They will identify and size opportunities, document dependencies, evaluate adoption and realized value, and provide clear recommendations that inform leadership-led planning, prioritization, investment, and operational decisions. Success in this role requires systems thinking, business acumen, analytical rigor, executive communication, and the ability to influence across organizational boundaries without direct authority. The chosen candidate can translate operational complexity into clarity, helping leadership and teams understand what is changing across OCE and Consumer eCommerce, how those changes connect, and whether investments are producing the intended business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain an integrated view of OCE's operational architecture, including business capabilities, ownership, tooling and platform ecosystems, AI investments, suppliers and cross-functional dependencies.
- Identify, assess, and recommend high-value transformation opportunities by analyzing operational performance, adoption trends, tooling gaps, supplier dependencies, organizational friction, and business impact.
- Establish and maintain OCE's transformation measurement framework, including baselines, success measures, adoption metrics, value realization approaches, and the OCE Transformation Scorecard.
- Connect related transformation efforts across OCE, maintaining visibility into dependencies, overlaps, risks, ownership gaps, and opportunities to increase the overall value of investments.
- Provide executive-ready insights, assessments, and recommendations that support leadership-led planning, prioritization, investment decisions, and operational reviews.
- Assess future-state impacts of AI, automation, self-service, platform modernization, and process change, helping leaders understand implications for capabilities, roles, skills, ways of working, and organizational readiness.
- Embody our culture and values.

- Preferred Experience Building and maintaining business architecture, capability models, operational process maps, or integrated views of complex organizations.
